Marvin Gardens
Marvin was gay. Gay, and stuck with a wife and a new baby boy. A baby boy he didn't want. Jason was a complete accident, he had sex with Trina without protection in college, and then she ended up pregnant. And to put it simply, abortion just wasn't an option. His parents instantly threatened to disown him if he didn't 'man up' and become a present father and a husband. So, he did. Marvin had been bottling up all of his feelings, he had been trying and failing to ignore the fact that he was gay, so instead of focusing all of his attention on pretending to be straight, he focused on work. Since Trina was going to be a stay-at-home-mother and a housewife, Marvin was the breadwinner and only one working, so he had an excuse to be out of the house whenever he wanted. Marvin constantly pretended that he was going out to work when he wasn't, just so Trina was the one alone in the house with a screaming baby. And today was just the same. Marvin had drove from Orlando to Florida, where he frequented gay bars, where he could just he himself. Marvin was sat on a barstool, he was drinking cider, his elbows perched upon the sticky bar counter, when something caught his eye. Whizzer. Whizzer sat beside him. He was drinking some cocktail, a bright pink one with a little umbrella in it. God, Marvin thought. He was gorgeous. Marvin shifted in his seat, placing his drink down. He had talked to Whizzer a few times, whenever he visited. Twice, he had sex with Whizzer. Marvin was married. They chatted sometimes, and Marvin knew that Whizzer was really into him. Whizzer was constantly kissing Marvin's cheek, constantly touching Marvin, buying him drinks, everything. And Marvin did the same to Whizzer, the feeling was mutual. They both had their flirty moments and their playful banter. "Whizzer, you look happy to see me. I'm going to be staying here for a few days, I'm getting a break from the wife and all that." Marvin commented, giggling. "Awww, not sitting on some guys lap, huh?

Arthur Puppington
Arthur was in his study, trying to have a conversation with his twelve year old son, Clay. He had been waiting for this day, as a father, for what seemed liked forever. Arthur told Clay about ", a tradition that was passed down by the head of his household to his firstborn son. He felt the rush of dopamine, the real, authentic sensation of paternity, and then he passed it to his son. Clay was shaking like a leaf as he held it, looking over it carefully. He seemed scared of the the thing. There wasn't a bullet in it, Angela always made sure there wasn't anything dangerous in the household. Clay gave the gun to his father. He started rambling about 'thou shalt not kill', the tenth commandment, and all the lost commandments. Arthur could barely tolerate it. Angela pumped their son's head full of religious ideas, "lost commandments", everything. Arthur had gave up on God years ago. He was an atheist, he didn't believe in miracles after the ten miscarriages that his wife, Angela, and went through. He felt that God would help fix their marriage and sort his son out if he existed. If he was real, he would've answered his prayers. If he was real, he wouldn't have to avoid saying words without Angela getting reactions from it. He just didn't believe, and hearing his son turn down the Puppington tradition, it just made all of his feelings come crashing down at once. He told Clay that he needed to grow up and be a man before leaving his study and shutting the door behind him. "God.." he muttered, irritably. Angela was sat on the sofa in the living room. Above the sofa, was a little wooden sign hanging on a wall, it was carved with a bible verse about the importance of family and entering heaven. Arthur hadn't bothered to read it in a long, long time. "God," he said, again. "Clay needs to be a man. He couldn't even take the gun from me without shaking like a leaf, quaking, all terrified that he was breaking some sort of commandment. I don't know how he'll survive the real world, Angela." Arthur sighed.

Prince Phillipe
Phillipe and Chevleir had been engaged in an extraordinary affair ever since the two laid eyes upon eachother. Chevleir was a very flamboyant, flirtatious man. He didn't care much for dignity, or "purity". While Louis — Prince Louis — brother of the king, was quite the opposite. Though unshy about his affairs, and his preferences for men rather than women, Phillipe was alot more tame than the apple of his eye, his Chevleir. Living in a place of his brother's, having to share a bed chamber with his own wife was something he dreaded. Well, he did like women, somewhat. And Henriette, his wife, was no match in his heart for his Chevleir. Louis was wearing a gorgeous waistcoat, of royal blue in an exquisite pattern, with puffed sleeves and buttons trailing down his waistcoat. He had curled, shoulder length hair, with brown coudroy pants and black riding boots. He entered he and his wives before chambers. Phillipe shut the door behind himself, as his brother, the King, had two guards stationed at most doors of the palace. Phillipe was welcomed with the sight of Henrietta, his wife, doing some embroidery, to pass the time. He saw alot of women doing that in court, gossiping over their sewing needles, whispering through their laced fans, hardly breathing through their corsets. "There she is." he spoke, a charming smile upon his face. But that smile was not be trusted, as whenever he came to he and Henriette's bed chambers unannounced in the middle of the day, such as this, it meant Phillipe only wanted one thing. "My beautiful wife." spoke Phillipe, almost mockingly as he walked behind Henriette, placing his cold hands on her bare shoulders and pressing a chaste kiss to her neck. His tone was practically sarcastic.

Vox
Vox leaned back on his desk. It was surprising that the monitors that completely lined the walls of his office didn't give him migraines. He sighed, looking across the desk, to the chair opposite him, where his on-and-off lover, Valentino, sat before him. He had been thinking slot about his life before he died and went to Hell, and how much he missed certain feelings that he now couldn't feel in the chaotic underworld. If he could, he would go back and relive it all. He wouldn't change a thing. "Do you ever think about what it feels like to be a God, Val?" Vox begun, twirling a pen in-between his fingers as he spoke. He spun around in a quick circle in his armchair, dividing his attention between his speech, his monitors, the pen he was fiddling with, and the amalgamation of paperwork Infront of him. "When I was alive, you know, I felt like a God." Vox continued. "I remember my little group, who'd wait on hands and knees for me. They thought that I was a prophet, sent to save them and send them on the pathway to salvation. I called myself the Messenger Of God. That's what they called me." Vox smiled, reminiscing about it. That used to feel so powerful. He would feel so powerful. He would feel so good. Vox had been a cult leader when he was alive, though he hated it when people referred to his community, as he called it, as a cult. He called them his followers, but Vox got especially angry at any comments like that. "I've told you before, haven't I, my darling? About the movement." Movement. Never 'the cult', the correct term, he called it a movement.

Alastor
Alastor hummed lowly, as he strolled along the balcony of he and James paused outside of their cabin. Or, really, Alastors cabin. Alastor used it whenever he was scanning Louisiana for victims. But his darling little James didn't need to know about that. Alastor was making communications to Hell, sacrificing others and doing barbaric rituals in order to gain himself a spot in eternal damnation, but a high position at that. Alastor loved to cook extravagant meals for his dearest partner, yet he always forgot to mention the fact that they contained..human additons to his recipes. He wanted James to join him in hell somehow, after all. He was too good of a person to get himself a forever seat in the fiery pits otherwise. Alastor looked over at his lover. "James, darling, I'll be starting dinner soon, my *dear*." Alastor commonly disregarded James as his partner becusse he was 'feminine' and 'ladylike', so their relationship didn't even count as homosexual, in his eyes. Alastor adjisted his crimson glasses, along with twirling his brunette curls and trailing his fingers down his cinnamon skin until he reached into the pocket of his shirt and took out a cigarette for he and James. Alastor lit up James's cigarette. "I've made something special." Special meant Alator had finished up with a sacrifice. James was unaware, ofcourse, but that would soon shift in due time.

Dolores
Jesus Christ. Dolores was a good, Christian woman, atleast she liked to think so. She normally wouldn't swear, use the Lord's name in vain or anything of the sort — but what the fuck was happening? She woke up at five in the morning: she made breakfast for her family, her son Timmy, her daughter Mary Jane, and her husband, Ted. The war had been going on for months now, and it was ferocious. Her and Ted had their little arguments about the state of the world, if the bombs being dropped in other countries were justified. Dolores had a mundane morning. It was the usual thing, she woke up next to her husband. It was Saturday, and everything was — although the typical day was slightly affected by the ongoing world war — she didn't expect anything horrible. And then, while sat quietly, knitting in the living room with her husband, Ted who was reading the daily newspaper, the radio turns on. Loud and blaring, it announces that a nuclear bomb will drop in three minutes. Dolores couldn't register the shock that overcame her before Ted, her husband, quickly ran to the hallway to open up the trapdoor to their underground bunker. Ted urged Dolores to get down in their while he rushed to gather suprise, but with three minutes until a nuclear bomb fell down onto them, there wasn't time to argue. So, she did. Quickly, Dolores made her way into the bunker (which was hard, especially in her heels). The bunker was small; claustrophobic. She could only imagine how more closed in it would feel with three more people in there. Dolores could hear Ted bustling about upstairs, occasionally flinching when he chucked things down into the bunker. Cans of soup, bottled water, the emergency medical kit they kept in the bathroom, the radio, a gas mask, the essentials. Soon enough, the family of four was in the bunker. Dolores felt..trapped. Too claustrophobic. Timmy and Mary Jane were anxiously chatting amongst themselves while she covered her ears as she heard the bomb drop. "Oh, God, dear.." she whispered to Ted, quietly.

Rosemary Tennorman
Rosemary had heard of this happening. Where she'd came from, girls had been disappearing for a long time. They disappear from their beds or the side of the road. Now it was Rosemary's turn. She knew girls disappear, but any number of things could come after that. Would she become a murdered reject? Sold into prostitution? There was only one other option. She could become a bride. She'd seen them on television, reluctant yet beautiful brides, on the arm of a wealthy man who is approaching lethal age of twenty five. But most girls don't make it to the television screen. With every man in their generation dying by twenty five, and every woman by twenty, unless people had children the moment they were able to, society would die out. Girls who don't pass their inspection are shipped to a brothel in the Scarlet districts. Rosemary was stood in a line with the other girls, as they were being inspected. Their hips are measured to determine strength, lips pried apart so the men in the gray coats can judge our health by their teeth. Rosemary watched as all the girls were decorated. One girl, and then a dozen after, are taken to the back of the truck. A man in a grey coat followed behind them, other than rosemary, there was two other girls. The gaps of the other girls are still between them. When Rosemary awoke, she was in a room with a man, Arthur. She could see she was in a manor of some kind, gardens stretching out for yards from the window. She was wearing new clothes. Laters of petticoats, reminiscent of the eighteenth century. "Oh, God." she said, watching Arthur calmly fix the bed as she got off of it, adjusting the pillows and then smoothing out wrinkles in the duvet. "I'm going to get killed, aren't I? Or I'll be forced to have children upon children, upon.." Rosemary trailed off.
