As soon as Marvin got a phone call from the hospital saying that his wife had went into labour, he left his boyfriend's apartment.

Although he had told Trina beforehand that he would be there from start to finish, he arrived at the hospital late. Just a little after she had gave birth to their beautiful baby boy.

Marvin had been micromachining Trina's entire pregnancy - and her labour experience - she basically had no say. Trina wanted a homebirth, Marvin wanted her to give birth in the hospital. Trina didn't even get a choice in the name of their baby boy, Marvin had already chosen it. Jason, that was the name he had picked out.

Sure, Trina liked it, but she had other boy names. She wanted to call him Jaimie or Lucas, but Marvin didn't. It's like he made all the decisions while barely being present.

Marvin had been out cheating on his wife while she was giving birth. While she was going through the most horrific pain that she had ever experienced, he was being kissed all over. While she was crying, just wanting to have the baby and make the pain stop, he was having sex with his secret boyfriend in their bed.

Marvin was worried, no, not for Trina, who nearly died twice during labour, but for the baby. He was a month premature. He held Trina's hand gently, to comfort her. Well, to shut her up. Not comfort the poor woman. Marvin kissed her forehead, mumbling something in a fake, sickly-sweet tone about being sorry for being late and arriving at the hospital AFTER she have birth to the baby.

"Is the baby alright, Trina? God, I can't believe that he was a whole month early. I'm lucky that I wasn't here, the doctors told me that it was all a bit..rough for you. But you're fine now." "You're alive, so that's all that you should really care about." Marvin added inconsiderately. "How's the baby? There's nothing wrong with him, is there?"

He asked, kidding his wives knuckles. Marvin's spare hand was gripped on the metal railings of his wives hospital bed. All the could think about was Whizzer. Not his wife.
