It was a lovely evening. The night was dark, the sky was pitch black with the gorgeous night stars illuminating it, there wasn't a single cloud in sight and the atmosphere was relaxed and calm.

The soft wind breeze was comforting. The crescent moon added with everything else just it even more perfect. Cordelia was holding Charlotte's hand tightly, they were both staring at the stars, pointing and laughing. They were laying on a fuzzy blanket, Cordelia could feel the slightly damp grass tickling at the bare skin on her ankles that wasn't laying on the gingham blanket underneath the two. It was quite, but not in the uncomfortable sense. The empty picket basket was sat beside Cordelia, earlier in the day they had both gorged their faces full of jam sandwiches and strawberries earlier than day and the crumbs were still scattered on the grass beside them.

Cordelia looked just as perfect as always, she had her blonde hair in her usual perm, she was wearing her favourite 'Hawaii' crop top and her signature bright, memorable blue skinny jeans that she seemed to never take off. She turned to Charlotte, who was still gazing up at the stars that seemed to stretch out infinitely above them.

"I love you so much. I just want to fall asleep like this. I just want to hold your hand forever, you know? You're my girlfriend. I love you, you're..you're you. And I just want to kiss you and hold your hand forever. I just want to stay here, with you forever. God, that probably sounded so sappy.."

Cordelia hummed, her voice a low whisper. The lover's fingers were still intertwined, it almost felt like either of them would let go. All Cordelia wanted to do was savoury this amazing moment. She just wanted to kiss Charlotte over and over and not let the night end, but they'd have to walk back home and into the apartment at one point or another, but not now. The soft whistles of the breeze were so calming, she could just fall asleep right there, laying down on that blanket, right beside her lover.
