After a short, tense breakfast with his wife, Marvin had left for "work". Ofcourse he didn't actually have a shift or anything, he was going to drive out of town to go to his secret boyfriend and affair partner, Whizzer Brown's, apartment.
After shutting the front door behind him, he got out his house key and locked the front door. He was the only one who had a key to their house, Trina didn't have one. He reached into his right pocket to check that he had the key-card to Whizzer's apartment on him, and he did. He always had that on him, since he visited his boyfriend's apartment so often.
Despite the fact he did in fact love Whizzer, he treated him more like a side-peice than anything else. He kept telling Whizzer that he was going to divorce Trina soon, but he wasn't. He had to stay married for appearances, he had to make sure that he appeared the live a heteronormative life, with a wife and child. He only visited Whizzer when he wanted, he was the controlling type and he was very careful on making sure that nobody knew about his secret relationship with a man.
Marvin put the key card to Whizzer's apartment back in his right rocket and walked over to his car, opening the car door and sitting in the driver's seat before slamming it shut and buckling his seatbelt. He was only driving for around half an hour before arriving outside Whizzer's apartment complex.
After carefully parking his car outside of the complex, he got out and slammed the car door shut, making sure to lock it before making his way inside the apartment complex and then up the stairs. Whizzer's apartment was ridiculously crap. It was claustrophobic and cramped, mold spotted the windowsill and the water constantly went him off, the living conditions were honestly horrific.
He unlocked Whizzer's apartment door with his key-card, he didn't look pleased, but he didn't look angry. He shut the door behind him.
"God, Whizzer, Trina was being such a bitch. Thought I'd crash here for a while, I'm sure that you don't mind."
