Nicole and David had broken up again.

She woke up, routinely, to find letters and bouquets outside of her front door every morning. David never failed to show up at the door, drop a letter off begging Nicole to take him back but she had tried to stay firm this time off.

It was a bit hard to actually ignore him. The big gestures drove her insane. A small voice in the back of her head told her that maybe she should give him a second chance, but another meek voice suggested that, if she took him back and he became obsessive again, how bad could everything get?

David was already possessive of her. After the break up, he had scared boys off she was talking to with extreme violence. And he scared her, he'd tried to break in a few times so she had her locks changed a dozen times in the past week.

Nicole hadn't dared to inform police, thought. She didn't want her father to find out. Not at all.

It was around midnight, eleven o'clock. She went to the front door to grab another bouquet stuffed with roses. She placed them in the trash, along with the lover letter attached, without a second thought. She had been doing this every night for a month now.

Nicole walked back into the living room, and sat down on the couch. She was watching some random movie, popcorn slipped between her lips.

That's when David slipped the fiberglass from the kitchen window off of it's hinges. He was wearing a red sweater over his muscular frame, with dark blue jeans and black leather gloves. He had a pistol in his left hand.

He hopped off of the kitchen countertop, and stalked his way through the house, drawing closer and closer to muffled audio that came from the television. He knew Nicole loved to watch movies, he'd been watching her routine for months.

Slowly, and carefully, he crept behind Nicole, and shot his hand over her mouth.

"Hi, Nicole. Don't scream, okay, baby? I've came to take you home with me, where you belong." he lulled into her ear.
