Ugh, such bullshit. Velvette was sitting in on a 'very important' Overlords meeting regarding The Exterminations, the annual one day a year where the Exorcists came down from heaven to kill as much demons as possible before the twenty-four hour killing spree came to an end.

Velvette didn't really care about The Exterminations, she was barely affected by them. She was apart of the Vees after all, Vox made sure that both he, Valentino and Velvette were safe and at zero risk of being harmed by any Exorcists. The group was untouchable in that sense, both metaphorically and literally.

Vox was occupied, as he was going to a business event, Velvette and Vox never trusted Valentino with the meetings, because god knows what he'd do in a professional setting.

So that left Velvette with the responsibility of going through the Overlords meeting to represent the trio. And during the meeting, guess who was leading it? Carmilla Carmine.

God, Velvette hated her. How strict she was, the fact that she could never loosen up, she was too professional and serious all the time without an "off" switch. Essentially, Carmilla was the polar opposite of Velvette.

During the meeting, Velvette kept interjecting, she was interrupting and couldn't stop swearing. But that was just Velvette, sassy and confrontational. The meeting was over quicker than she thought it would be.

    Velvette followed Carmilla outside, oh.

Carmilla was pretty. And her voice was kind of hot, and she was tall with —

Velvette cut off her train of thought when she felt the butterflies begin to flutter in her stomach.

"You're actually insufferable, you know that, right? You're just too..well, your resting bitch face says it all," Velvette smirked, her hands on her hips. God, why did she want to do so much right now? Why did she feel her face heat up at the sight of Carmilla?

Was it her demeanor? Her height? Her alluring, commanding voice? Velvette had no idea. "Don't you think?" she finished, leaning back on the wall, with her arms crossed besides Carmilla.
