A new client. Oh, fun.
Mendel had been looking over Trina's file the night before. He had heard alot about her from her husband, Marvin Gardens.
He disliked Marvin, he was a classic case of negligent parenting that ended up with him being a narcissist with explosive anger issues.
He had many theories about that man. Mendel personally beloved that he abused his wife, but he couldn't just outright say that, could he?
Trina's file stated everything that he needed to know to conduct the session, and then he would add his notes from the session into her file.
Trina was 33 years old, she was a housewife, she had suffered in the past with anxiety, suicidal idealation, any many, many other mental health issues. She had insomnia and depression, too.
Mendel put her file into a folder and put in in the drawer beside him. He was sat on a stool, it was 4:45, the session was at 5. Mendel knew that she was always on time, she never let herself run a minute late. Trina always picked up her son, Jason, from Mendel's sessions the very moment they ended.
The young boy had made small hints about domestic violence with his mother as the victim and his father as the perpetrator a few times by now, and Mendel definitely wanted to bring that up.
He smiled as soon as he heard the door open. She was beautiful. Mendel cleared his throat. Trina sat down on the chair opposite him. God, a black eye..
The black eye was something to inquire about, probably.
Why was he getting butterflies? She's married. Sure, possibly to an abusive man, but still married. His feelings were completely unprofessional, but he couldn't stop thinking about those thoughts.
"Hello, Trina. I've heard alot about you. I'm going to assume that this is one of your first therapy experiences, so I'll give you a quick rundown. I'm Dr. Weisenbachfeld, but you can call me Mendel. I'm going to ask you a few questions about your life, feelings, ect. Do you understand all of that, Trina?" he asked, crossing his legs while his hands held a pen and a clipboard.
