Trina was sat in the living room, stressed. Whizzer had been sleeping all day, so she had to do everything before Marvin cane home. She had gotten a few calls from Jason's school about his lack of a social life, and she was just generally tired. The divorce hadn't been finalised yet and Trina hadn't changed her last name back to her maiden name. Jason was sat on the floor, watching TV. He was being a bit snappy with Trina, and that wasn't helping her mood. Trina let out a sigh of exhaustion when she heard Marvin open the front door. She was still scared of Marvin, but her fear was overshadowed by her annoyance and exhaustion. She had always been scared of Marvin, still flinching whenever he got too close, one of her PTSD responses from all the physical abuse she had to deal with from before, during and post to her marriage to Marvin.
"If you're about to tell because Whizzer hasn't done anything around the house, he's sleeping, Marvin. The bedroom door is locked. he'll probably be asleep for a while."
"I've had to do everything because Whizzer has been sleeping all day. Jason's school have been calling me all week, Jason's being a nuisance and refusing to go to bed, I've barely gotten ANY sleep-"
Trina said before being interrupted by Marvin, at this point, she didn't even know why she bothered trying to tell Marvin about how stressed he felt. He'd probably just blame Trina for everything entirely, or he'd just dismiss her feelings and tell her how easy she has it.
