Marvin had just came home from work, Trina had only lost their baby boy a week ago, and Marvin wasn't handling his grief well. Marvin had physically abused Trina all of their relationship, until she got pregnant. He didn't want to risk hurting the baby, that was the last thing he wanted.

He handled his grief through being violet, specifically to Trina. He knew that his wife's mental health had absolutely deteriorated the day that she found out her baby was gone, but he didn't care.

He found it irritating. She was always crying. The nursery that was intended for the baby was still up, Trina spent most her time in there. Marvin wanted to get rid if everything in there as if nothing had happend. He hated being reminded of the miscarriage. It just made him so angry, he couldn't express his grief anyway else.

Marvin shut the front door behind him, making a loud thud that echoed throughout the household. He could faintly hear Trina's sobs from the kitchen, and it was irritating, to him, atleast.

He set his keys to the side and hung his blazer up on the coathanger. Marvin went into the kitchen, looking down at Trina, who was sat on the kitchen floor, sobbing.

Sure, he didn't understand why she was attached to the thing, she tried to abort it, after all. But he did understand that he had to treat her carefully, be mindful of her vulnerable state, ect.

Marvin was completely done with Trina's family. He didn't stick up for Trina or confront her family, ofcourse. But he hated when they'd tell Trina things like "God took away your baby because you nearly got an abortion. You wouldnt've been a good mother, God does everything for a reason" and all that complete and utter bullshit. Marvin looked down at Trina, who was still sobbing. He took a deep breath to compose himself, he couldn't yell at her. He couldn't.

"Trina, sweetheart.." he whispered, sitting beside her. He placed a comforting hand on her back. "We need to clear out his nursery, alright? I need a little bit of help. It'll be better for you if it's gone."
