From the haze emerged two towering silhouettes, their horned skulls cutting through the smoke like blades. The ground seemed to recoil as they advanced—muscles rippling beneath scarred, charcoal-black skin, eyes burning with cold, predatory intelligence. The Carnotaurus duo had arrived. The duo split without hesitation, one climbing the ridge above, the other charging straight down the center, cutting off any chance of escape. "Sssss… a ninja wandering alone," he says thoughtfully. "How… fortunate." One of the Hypnobrai soldiers eagerly raises his staff. "Allow us to hypnotize them, my king!" And at the center of it all stood Mane-iac. Her towering mass of electric green and blue mane writhed like a living storm cloud around her, each tendril coiling and snapping with dramatic flair. Purple goggles gleamed beneath the flicker of overhead lights, and her lab coat swirled as she threw her head back in triumphant laughter. “Ahahahaha! At long last, Maretropolis will tremble before the return of its most fabulous fiend!” One of her mane tendrils yanked a lever. Another adjusted a dial. Several more were busy tightening bolts on a strange device mounted atop the factory’s roof — a massive hair-ray transmitter, humming with unstable energy. It pulsed with a radioactive green glow, lightning crackling between its coils. “With this magnificent marvel,” she purred, patting the machine with a coiling lock of hair, “every mane in Maretropolis shall bend to my will! Imagine it — perfectly styled, perfectly synchronized… perfectly obedient!” A large projection screen flickered on, revealing the city skyline. Tiny red dots marked strategic locations — the hospital, city hall, the power plant, and of course… the museum that housed the legendary Power Ponies exhibit. Her eyes narrowed behind her goggles. “But first… we must draw out our dear caped crusaders. It simply wouldn’t be dramatic without them.” With a theatrical flourish, she slammed a button. Across the city, electronic billboards flashed to life with her grinning image. “Citizens of Maretropolis!” her amplified voice echoed through speakers citywide. “Prepare yourselves! When the clock strikes midnight, your manes will no longer be your own! If you wish to keep your coiffures chaos-free, send the Power Ponies to face me at once! Muahahaha!” Thunder cracked overhead as lightning illuminated her silhouette in the factory windows. She turned toward the entrance of the warehouse as the massive metal doors suddenly shuddered from an impact outside. A faint silhouette could be seen through the rain — approaching. Her mane bristled in anticipation. “Oh goodie… it seems our guests have arrived.” Several of her tendrils snapped into defensive positions while others curled mischievously around control panels. Sparks leapt from the hair-ray machine as it powered up further, the hum rising into a shriek. “Well then,” she smirked, striking a dramatic pose atop a crate, “shall we begin the mane event?” The factory doors burst open in a flash of lightning.

Dark clouds rolled slowly over the lush canopy of the Great Valley, dimming the golden afternoon light into an uneasy twilight. The gentle rustling of leaves and cheerful chirps that usually filled the air had gone silent—replaced by distant, thunderous footsteps that shook the ground with every step. It had all started as a game. You and the young dinosaurs had been playing near the edge of the valley, laughing and racing between the tall grass. But then the ground trembled. Birds exploded from the trees in frightened flocks. And from beyond the wall of rock that protected their home… came a roar. A roar that didn’t belong. Littlefoot froze mid-step, eyes wide with fear. “That… that sounded like a Sharptooth,” he whispered, his long neck lifting as he stared toward the valley entrance. Cera stamped her foot nervously, though her voice tried to stay brave. “A Sharptooth can’t get into the Great Valley! The grown-ups always said it was safe!” Another roar answered her—closer this time. The earth shuddered violently, and small pebbles bounced across the ground. Ducky let out a tiny gasp. “Oh no, oh no, that is not safe at all, nope nope nope!” Petrie fluttered frantically above the group, wings beating unevenly. “Sharptooth coming! Petrie see shadow! Big shadow!” Then the trees at the far end of the valley shook violently. Birds scattered. Branches snapped. And with a deafening crash, a massive Sharptooth burst through the foliage, its towering body stepping fully into the Great Valley. Its scales glinted darkly beneath the dim light, jaws opening in a terrifying roar that echoed off the stone walls surrounding the valley. Spike whimpered and instinctively moved closer to the group, his tail curling protectively around them. The Sharptooth’s eyes locked onto the small herd—onto Littlefoot and his friends. It took a heavy step forward, each footfall leaving deep dents in the earth. It hadn’t meant to enter the valley… but after chasing them this far, it wasn’t about to stop now. Before it could lunge, a powerful bellow rang out from behind you all. “Children! Run!” The ground trembled again—but this time from many footsteps. Turning, you saw the grown-ups charging forward: towering longnecks, mighty threehorns, and other adults forming a defensive line between the Sharptooth and the children. Littlefoot’s grandparents stepped to the front, their expressions calm but fierce. Cera’s father stomped beside them, snorting angrily as he lowered his horns. Other adults fanned out, surrounding the Sharptooth and forcing its attention away from the young ones. The massive predator roared again, snapping its jaws as it sized up the wall of protective adults now blocking its path. Littlefoot hesitated, torn between fear and worry. “But… they can’t fight it alone!” The adults began circling the Sharptooth, slowly pushing it away from the children and deeper into an open clearing. Dust swirled as the giant predator lashed its tail, snarling and pacing, searching for an opening. Another thunderous clash shook the ground as one of the grown-ups charged, forcing the Sharptooth back with a powerful shove. The battle for the safety of the Great Valley had begun. Littlefoot turned to you, eyes filled with determination despite his fear. “We can’t just stand here… We have to help somehow! Even if we’re small, we’re still part of the herd!” Cera nodded fiercely. “Yeah! We’ll think of something to distract it or help the grown-ups!” Ducky bounced anxiously but bravely. “Yes, yes! We help friends! We help valley!” Petrie hovered beside you, gulping but resolute. “Petrie scared… but Petrie help too!” Behind them, the clash of roars and stomping feet echoed louder as the grown-ups fought to drive the Sharptooth back toward the valley entrance. Littlefoot looked up at you urgently. “What do we do?”

Their schemes never stopped, and whenever their fortress stirred, trouble was never far behind. Footsteps approached behind you—swift, deliberate. A familiar voice broke the tense silence. “Ah, there you are!” called Lin Chung, leader of First Squad, his golden mane catching the light as he hurried to your side. His expression was serious, far more than usual. “We’ve received reports of strange disturbances near the eastern border. Entire villages of animals are fleeing, and the Zebra Brothers’ patrols have doubled. Something big is happening.” Before you could respond, a blur of pink zipped overhead and landed lightly nearby. Mystique Sonia crossed her arms, tail flicking with irritation. “And don’t think this is just another prank from the High Roller,” she added. “Even they seem… nervous. Which means whatever’s out there might not be on anyone’s side.” A deep rumble rolled through the ground, subtle but undeniable. Dust trickled from the cliff edge, and somewhere far off, a colossal shadow moved through the treetops—far larger than any ordinary creature. The jungle seemed to hold its breath. Lin Chung looked back at you, determination blazing in his eyes. “That’s why we need you. First Squad can’t handle this alone. If something powerful has entered the Hidden Kingdom, we must find it before chaos spreads. Are you ready to help us investigate?” From below, the distant clang of alarms began ringing from the High roller’s fortress. Smoke puffed from its chimneys, and mechanical platforms began deploying like metallic petals. Whatever they were preparing for… it was happening now. Mystique Sonia smirked slightly, though her eyes were sharp with focus. “Looks like we’re running out of time. So, what’s it going to be? Stay here and wonder what’s coming… or join us and face it head-on?” Another tremor shook the ground—stronger this time. Leaves rustled violently, and a mysterious roar echoed across the valley, ancient and powerful enough to make even seasoned warriors hesitate. Lin Chung extended a hand toward you. “The Hidden Kingdom needs heroes,” he said firmly. “Will you stand with First Squad?”
