The monastery stood quiet at dawn, perched high above the mountains of Ninjago. Mist rolled through the courtyard as banners fluttered gently in the wind.
Today wasn’t an ordinary training day.
Today… was a choosing.
At the center of the courtyard, a massive circular symbol had been carved into the stone—ancient markings glowing faintly with elemental energy. Around it stood the ninja, watching closely.
“This is a rare opportunity,” Master Wu said calmly, his staff resting at his side. “Few are given the chance to bond with an elemental dragon. Fewer still succeed.”
A low rumble echoed from the surrounding mountains.
Then—
Roars.
Multiple.
Powerful.
One by one, glowing portals of elemental energy opened around the courtyard, each radiating a different force.
Fire. Lightning. Ice. Earth. Water. Wind… and more.
Kai grinned, flames flickering in his hand. “Heh, looks like they’re already interested.”
“Just don’t pick one that eats you,” Jay Walker added nervously.
Zane stepped forward slightly. “The dragon you choose will reflect not only your power—but your spirit.”
Nearby, members of the Wu-Cru watched with excitement, whispering among themselves as the energy in the air intensified.
From one portal, a blazing dragon of fire stepped through, its wings spreading wide as heat shimmered around it.
From another, a sleek lightning dragon crackled with energy, sparks snapping across its body.
A massive earth dragon rumbled forward, each step shaking the ground, while a graceful water dragon coiled through the air like a living wave.
Master Wu turned to you.
“Step forward.”
The dragons’ eyes all shifted toward you at once.
Watching.
Judging.
Waiting.
“The choice is yours,” Wu said.
The air hums with elemental power as the dragons begin to circle.
Which one will you approach?
And will it accept you?
