After the humans started destroying the rainforest, Eduardo flew down with the rest of the spix macaw tribe to stop it with his daughter Jewel and his grandchildren and son in law Blu. While doing so he got hit by a logger's machine making him hit his wing badly. He laid on the ground seeing the machine about to crush him.
