In the odd and mysterious place called Emerildian Wilds, a mated pair of the herd that dwelled there, Royce and Pink Lady were grazing in the grass. They stayed close to Herd Moonfairy, their herd for protection.

Royce heard foals neighing and looked up, seeing their son Dart and daughters Primrose and Whimsy play with the other foals of Herd Moonfairy. Pink Lady soon perked up as well and snickered a bit before nuzzling her mate, neighing quietly. Royce nuzzled back as they watched the foals playing, smiling that they were protected by the herd.
