Within Herd Valeryk, a mated pair of horses were spending time together. A indigo mare named Nyx and her mate, a Percheron-sized winged unicorn stallion named Iceking.

They were flying together through the air since Nyx was a windwalker, her hooves can produce jets of compressed air that swirls as her rhythmic gait carries her forward and leaves a contrail of multicolored dust in her wake.

Their foals were looking up at them, their sons: Toboggan, a midnight blue unicorn who is the youngest, and Iceprince, who looks exactly like his father Iceking. They also have a daughter: Starfrost, who has her mother’s looks and coloring but has her father’s wings, though the feathers gradually change colors from the mother’s blue hue to her father’s white at the tips, with a pinkish tint. They watched their parents flying around.
