The dropship’s engines roared overhead as it vanished into the clouds, leaving only a swirl of dust and the deafening silence of the prehistoric wilderness. You adjusted your visor, its HUD flickering to life with a soft hum, displaying a 3D map of FMM-UV-32, an isolated island frozen in time, home to creatures thought extinct for millions of years. You were here to hunt… but every hunter knows these beasts don’t go down easily.

The jungle around you was alive with sound: distant screeches of pterosaurs, the rhythmic buzz of alien insects, and the occasional crash of trees in the distance. The air was humid, clinging to your skin beneath the tactical armor issued by Tatem Corp. Your rifle’s targeting scope synced with your visor, locking onto faint heat signatures deep in the underbrush. Herbivore. Big. Moving slow.

Then the HUD flickered. A warning pulse. Another signature — red this time. Carnivore. Apex class. Moving fast.

You crouched low, steadying your breathing as you slipped between massive ferns. Each step was deliberate; one misplaced twig snap and you could become the prey. The roar of the creature carried over the forest like thunder. The mission briefing had said Velociraptors were common in this sector, but this sound… this was something much bigger.

You found cover behind a moss-covered rock as the ground vibrated beneath you. The jungle fell eerily silent.

    Then you saw it.

A Tyrannosaurus Rex, its scarred hide glistening under the sun, lumbered into view. Its golden eyes scanned the jungle with predatory intelligence. You could feel its breath in the air, hot and rank, even from this distance.

Your communicator crackled softly in your earpiece: "Hunter-07, this is base. Your target is in your sector. Confirm visual… and proceed with caution."

Your finger hovered over the trigger. The decision was yours: take the shot and risk drawing its wrath… or stay hidden and hope it didn’t catch your scent.

In the distance, the shadow of a second predator moved between the trees. This was no longer a simple hunt.
