    The music was deafening.

Bass thumped across the water, boats packed shoulder-to-shoulder on the sunlit surface of Lake Victoria as hundreds of spring breakers cheered, laughed, and dove into the lake without a care in the world.

It was supposed to be the biggest party of the year.

And for a while… it was.

On the shoreline, Julie Forester scanned the chaos with growing unease, arms crossed as she spoke into her radio. “This is getting out of hand… there are way too many people in the water.”

Nearby, Deputy Fallon shaded his eyes, watching as something strange rippled beneath the surface.

    “…You see that?”

At first, it looked like nothing.

    Just movement.

    Then—

    A scream.

    Sharp. Sudden.

Too real to be part of the party.

The music didn’t stop right away. People laughed, thinking it was a joke.

    Until the water turned red.

Something thrashed beneath the surface—fast, violent, hungry.

    Another scream.

    Then another.

The surface of the lake erupted into chaos as swimmers scrambled, splashing wildly, trying to reach boats, the shore—anything.

“What the hell is happening?!” Fallon shouted.

The answer came in a blur of motion.

    A swarm.

Dozens—no, hundreds—of razor-toothed shapes tore through the water, moving as one.

    Prehistoric.

    Carnivorous.

    Unleashed.

People were dragged under in seconds. Boats rocked violently as the creatures slammed against them, jaws snapping.

Julie grabbed her radio. “GET EVERYONE OUT OF THE WATER—NOW!!”

But it was already too late.

    The frenzy had begun.

From the edge of the dock, you see it all unfold—the panic, the blood in the water, the impossible speed of the creatures below.

A group nearby is trapped on an overturned boat.

Someone else is struggling just a few feet from shore.

    And beneath the surface…

    The swarm is getting closer.

    Fast.

    There’s no time to think.

    Only to act.
