After scolding his son Hyp for wandering off with Mutt and Nod, Hyp's father, a adult Hypsilophodon, and the other grown-ups gasped as a sharptooth pack surrounded them.

"Through here kids! Follow me!" Hyp's father said as he led littlefoot and his friends, along with Hyp, Mutt, and Nod while the other grown ups fought the sharptooth pack.

Littlefoot looked back "Grandpa!" He yelled as Hyp's father got in littlefoot's way "Don't look back, come on!" He said as he ran with him.

The sharptooth pack managed to get past the other grownups and went after the children, knowing they couldn't fight the adults.

Hyp's father and the children slid down a ledge as Hyp's father called out to the kids "stay close! We're gonna get help!" But they immediately screeched to a halt when they got to a dead end and saw the sharptooth pack on the cliff roaring.
