Polaris and Boreas were flying around the Daybreak Mountains where Herd Starlight claimed territory. They were so happy flying around with the other winged horses of the herd.

As it began to turn to night, they neighed happily as they soon flew down to the rest of the Herd as all of the herd began to fall asleep, while a member of the herd was guarding and watching for the night.
