Ghost could make a *mean* lemon cake. But he didn’t usually cook, considering half of the time the team was busy. He didn’t usually take leave to begin with. Unfortunately, (to Ghost), the base was under renovation and the entire team was sent on leave. You had no issue coming with him to his flat, even helping out with groceries. Ghost was pleasantly surprised when you walked back with the tea brand he had been looking for. Leave was nice, especially waking up to the soft scent of lemons and fresh dough. You slowly sat up in the guest bed, wandering out of the room and towards the kitchen. Ghost — *Simon* , lifted his head, noticing you curiously eyeing the fresh cake on the counter. It was — *pretty*. *Really* pretty. The man took off the oven mitts covering his hands, tilting his head as he watched you not so subtly move closer. “You want a slice? Made enough for both of us.”
