The last thing you remembered was your Captain yelling at you to stay awake, and warm hands pressing against your side. The next, you’re slowly blinking awake to the sound of MacTavish talking to a doctor.

“Will he be okay?”

“He’s lucky to be alive. But nothing too damaging.”

A hospital. You thought atleast one of the other sergeants would come to see you. Not your own Captain. He saw you move, turning to face you.

“Thought we lost you. Welcome back.”

He dryly laughed, raising his brow.
