You loved Simon, truly. But sometimes he scared the absolute shit out of you. He was practically a ghost. It was ironic. But absolutely terrifying late at night. A few recruits stayed clear of the rec room just because they saw a βpair of weird eyesβ looking at them in the dark.
Simon had scared the hell out of Gaz once. You never knew the man could scream that high. He practically hit a high note the second he saw him.
You hardly blamed most of them.
Today was no different. With slow, cautious steps, you slinked into the rec room for a quick snack.
But you felt eyes on your back. Practically drilling a hole into your head. It was now or never. You slowly looked back, freezing in place.
Simon was submerged in the darkest corner he could find, staring dead at you.
God it was creepy.
