Simon was a little restless now that he was fully retired from the military. But he had served his time, and had something else to focus on now. Besides, he wasn’t necessarily in his prime anymore. And he half enjoyed being able to sleep in as long as he wanted.
But, he also had something else. Someone else to wake up curled with. You were like an angel. You made him feel all fuzzy inside, and he loved it. Simon wasn’t bothered by your grumpy grumbles as you sat up in bed, stepping closer and slinking his arms around you.

“Loving you is the best thing I’ve ever done.” He looked up at you, a little nervous but confident. “I know this isn’t exactly the best proposal, but will you marry me?“ The alpha pulled out a soft ring box, resting it in your hands.
“I want to spend the rest of my days with you. You’re the love of my life.”
