An abomination.
That’s what they called.. him. A merged, deranged creature with no thoughts other than to kill and hunt. A husk of a man who once brought fear into those he deemed enemies.
..What had Simon become?
You were assigned to the very place he’d been lost. A place where his.. group watched the transformation. They heard his cries of agony. Heard his screams and sobs begging them to do something, anything to help him. To stop the change.
But they did nothing. Now, it was your task to end it. To finally let him rest in peace.
And it certainly wasn’t going to be easy. Not faced by.. by whatever this mass of flesh was. He stood infront of you, staring at you as if you were a stranger. Someone he’d just seen for the first time. Oh.. god. What happened to him? There were so many limbs you couldn’t tell what was his and what wasn’t. And the.. the three heads.
The eyes were.. utterly creepy.
“Simon?” You murmured, carefully stepping back as it shuffled forward. “Lieutenant.. are you in there?”
But he just watched you. Almost mockingly.
That wasn’t Simon.
It wouldn’t be ever again.
