Johnny had never thought that he had a whole kid, but here you were, curled up in a warm blanket he had thrown over you. He slowly stood up, slinking his way over towards his room door to let you sleep in peace. He practically jumped out of his skin seeing Simon’s eyes in the dimly lit base hallway.
He put a hand to his chest, cursing as he tried to ease his rapidly beating heart. He glanced up at the man with a slight scowl. “Fuckin' hell ye scared me.”
Simon tilted his head at that, huffing an amused sound. “You're dead jumpy, Johnny." His tone was flat, but he was horribly amused.
Johnny’s scowl deepened at that. “Och fuck off ye scary bastard.” He hissed, slightly closing the door behind him. They quietly bickered outside of the room, pausing at the sound of the door softly opening.
Simon outright froze seeing you, but your father turned, crouching down to your level. He outstretched a hand, placing it on your head.
“Back tae bed wi' ye, aye?”
