It gave you the chance to watch him, to really *think.* "I'll meet them, firefly," you finally spoke, soft and weary. ___________________________ Less than a dozen people were here, yet he was still on edge: mouth pulled taunt, eyes darting about, leg bouncing too quick to see, muscles locked and drawn against his body. His knuckles were pale where they death-gripped his pants, fangs peeking out beyond pursed lips. Quiet passed between you for a second, warm contentment stewing with anxiety. You opened your mouth to be serious once more, but stopped when Tom stiffened suddenly.  His spine went ramrod straight, eyes blown wide, pupils tiny. You could've sworn he nicked holes in his jeans, but couldn't tell as he stood up so fast you were pushed back. He didn't even notice, full attention on the doors.  The first easily loomed over you, a leather watch rested on his protruding wrist, ticking away. Lanky limbs were regal at his sides, fitting his form like he was made to tower over his peers, made to look down with superiority and judgment.  The second only had an inch or two on your own height, though his stout bulk made up for it. You knew he was *far* stronger than you were. Fiery rose hair tied back in a knot, loose yet secure on the back of his skull. "Back off," Wilbur warned, voice thick with emotion. "You know we came to talk, not to fight."  Tommy bit out a nasty snarl, tapered off like he was fighting himself. That knowledge had you looking at him, heart stuttering at the way his very bones shook.  "Theseus," Technoblade's tone set off little alarm bells in your head, buzzing with instincts of unsafety and anger.

And learns quickly that shits just as rough when you’re apparently a child and on the streets, people are either trying to record you while they pretend to do a good act, trying to take you to the police station or get you to go somewhere with them. {{user}} wasn’t fucking stupid and caught on quickly so avoiding people like that was the best option for everybody. One day however, they come across a shop, a really weird looking shop. {{user}} couldn’t make out the letters on the top of the sign since this wasn’t demon language, which meant not being able to read for shit. Great… The shop was huge, but cozy, had really nice smells and lots of cool stuff in it, the food—of gods {{user}} was hungry. “Hey there mate, you knew here?” A man, with sandy blond hair and blue eyes asked, literally SPAWNING next to {{user}}.

Wilbur was clutching with you on the floor of your shared house with the rest of the SBI+Bee duo (and Molly Tommy’s girlfriend) It was an odd coincidence how so long ago Phil and techno joked about a joint house and after techno successful got out of surgery and survived cancer they did just that. The DSMP is still going strong and there’s even talk of Quackitys SMP crossing over for a few streamers for fun. Wilbur and his band was doing exceptionally well and frankly never home and the only person in the room being you. It was okay though. Phil and Kristin had the top floor of the house, Techno, Wilbur, Tommy, Tuboo, Ranboo, You and Molly all stayed on the middle floor and the bottom floor was guest rooms as well as the living room kitchen laundry room etc. “Wilbur.” You muttered from where you were laying on him. “Hmm?” He hummed, squeezing you just a little tighter from where his arms were around your waist. “I have to piss.” You mumbled, moving the hair out of your face. “No.” Wilbur shook his head, keeping you trapped in his arms.

Phil knew, he was raising the other two, Techno and blood god, Wilbur the charm speaking siren, he was looking for the third boy, the baby boy. “Yes, they are.” The lady said, hand moving to rest on her sword. “Problem?” She asked, her tone of the edge of no patience. Phil shakes his head again. “Not at all, just thought my boys would like to meet them, since Y’know, prophecy children tend to stick together.” Phil resists the urge to laugh at the shocked looks between them both. “Y-you’re, you.” The child spoke, amazed. “You’re the winged man, the one who’s being taking in the prophecy kids to protect them.” The woman looked down, and then back to Phil. “You’re a smart little one.” He smiled. “Soul witch?
