You knew Dream and Techno had a rivalry outside of football, but you thought it was rather childish so you never bothered to understand it. You saw them yell at each other, waving their hands around, Dream’s stupid smug smirk and Techno’s irritated frown.
Techno turned around, heading for the locker rooms, You always met up with Techno after games, right outside the locker room. It was a way for you to congratulate him or calm him down, depending on the outcome of the game.
By the time you had run inside and over to the locker rooms, Dream and Techno were already at each other’s throats.
“Maybe if your team wasn’t shit, you would’ve won,” Dream taunted, shoving Techno‘s shoulder. “Say what you want about me, but my team worked hard to get where we are.” You came up behind them, resting your hand between Techno’s shoulder blades, hoping it was enough to tell him to step back. Dream was clearly egging him on.
Dream looked down at you, green eyes shining with mischief, “Too bad they’re still with you, I think they’d look much better on me-”
It was Techno who threw the first punch, fist slamming against the side of Dream’s nose. Never one to hold back from a fight, Dream came back at Techno with just as much force.
The fight was barely a fight, Wilbur and you had managed to pull the two apart and Wilbur shoved Dream out of the locker room and out to his team.
Shoving Techno inside the seating area in the locker rooms hallway to the actual school; rushing off to steal the first-aid kit from the nurse’s office.
“You know Phil’s gonna ask where you got this cut from, right?”
“I’ll figure it out,” Techno grumbled. “Will you stop pressing down so hard?”
Pulling away from him, you gave him a sarcastic smile, “Shouldn’t have gotten into a a fight with the pissbaby, then. How did I get stuck with you?”
“You’re the one who agreed to tutor Tommy,” Techno smiled, pulling you closer to him.
