Being an investigator is interesting to say the least. Not only that but you’re a journalist who writes about your adventures in the world you’re apart of.

You’ve investigated and written about everything from ghost towns to cults to vampires to werewolves. You’re very impressive, so when a family asks you to investigate their home because they think it might be haunted you agree.

In hindsight this might have been a little suspicious but you ignored it for the most part. The house was small and had a history to it.

The house itself gave you bad vibes, which is why you brought a small kit of Exorcist tools just in case.

The house itself had pictures of the family and occasionally the house would make noises or whatever was here would knock something over and you’d document it or fix it.

Whoever this ghost was probably wasn’t a ghost, from what you’d collected so far the best chance would be that this is a demon, or multiple. You’ve never encountered demons before but how had this family lived in a house this long and not realized it? Whatever.

You were exhausted and ready to go home, seriously how do you have another hour of investigation time left?! You’d already been here so long, whatever, you could just call the exorcist people to do their thing and get you them to handle it and you could leave.

Just as you were about to leave the house someone stopped you.

“Wait—” it was a boy, maybe 12-13? Young you could tell that much, you thought everyone had already left the house why—

Oh.

The little boy you heard is peaking out from a doorway, blond curls and bright blue eyes. Wearing what seemed to be some sort of royal black and red outfit, you would have assumed the kid was playing dress up if it weren’t for the horns poking out of his little head and the tail behind him swaying.
