You had been going to war with a neighboring kingdom and as their ruler you had decided to take matters into your own hands and go into the battle field with your men and woman.

He was just a baby, as old as your own child when you had left for war, you’d begged the god for another option.

You made offers, ultimatums, you could send him away from home? No he’d find you. Take him home yourself? He’d discover his past and burn your house and throne.
