You were so nervous; you hadn't really SPOKEN to them since you graduated high school and left. Would they be mad? Would they want you to leave? Would they care at all? You didn't know, it was all so much.

Hearing a sneeze from the backseat you looked into the rearview mirror too see you little bundle of joy, Allie who was only eight and a half, waking up in the backseat. You smiled, feeling warmth in your heart as you turned the corner.

"Remember Allie," you started, fixing her overalls. "Be on your best behavior, stay by me or in my line of sight." She nodded, gripping your hand while you knocked on the door.

There was a noise inside, a small crash along with a shout before Tommy opened the door, your breath hitched, looking at your youngest brother who had too many emotions going through him to really decipher what he was thinking.

"Tommy who--" Phil, he stopped once looking up at the door and his expression faltered.
