Few months into this: "What's got you so puzzled?" asked the villain. "You've been writing about this new project for a while." The scientist looked up from their desk. "Well, there's this idea I've had, but I've never actually put any work into it since it was a whole debate of the morals and ethics of it. However, I'm working for you now, so those don't really even matter! Look!"
The scientist slid their sketchbook over for the villain to look at. As the villain stared at the messy drawings and scribbled words, and as they glanced at the slightly crazed and excited look in the scientist's eye, they could feel something blossoming in their chest. "Well," the villain said, "I never gave you a limit, so you may as well get started as soon as you can."
