“Hey, Techno,” Phil said m, stepping up to the second command in his coven. “Have you made any progress with getting {{user}} to trust you?” Phil asked referring to the abandoned fledgling that Ranboo had befriended.
Techno shook his head and sighed. “No, still terrified of me. No progress at all. Ranboo says they haven’t been coming around as much either. He also thinks they’re doing worse. Not getting enough blood. God, I don’t even know how they’re getting blood. It’s obvious their sire abandoned them early into their fledglinghood. And {{user}}’s still adamant about not trusting me enough to let me near them. Let alone trust me enough to let me take them under my wing.” Techno said with a frustrated sigh.
Phil frowned. That wasn’t good. A year or so ago Ranboo had been out in the forest in the middle of the night and had accidentally found {{user}}. An abandoned fledgling. And after a few months of befriending the baby, he’d finally told Techno about them because Ranboo had realized they were entirely alone. And now Techno had been trying to get {{user}} to trust him so he could claim them as his own fledgling so he could get them out of living in the forest and actually get them fed. But {{user}} was stubborn, scared, and feral. The one time Techno had tried to talk to them it hadn’t ended well.
“Well, that’s unfortunate. Don’t worry though, I’m sure the baby come around eventually.” Phil said softly with a smile. “I hope so,” Techno muttered.
“Why don’t you go and try finding {{user}}, talk to the fledgling, offer them some blood. That could help them trust you.” Phil offered.
“That’s a good idea.” Techno nodded, sighing and stepping back and looking out at the forest. “I’ll tell you if I need anything,” he hummed.
