Even after the war, Ba-tman and the other heroes continued their work, each protecting their own city. But when the League called an emergency meeting, it was clear something had changed. Gathered around the round table, the heroes waited for answers. "What's the urgent call?" Fl-ash asked, his usual humor slightly forced in the tense atmosphere. Wo-nder Wo-man stepped forward, her expression serious. "We found an angel’s egg in the Amazon rainforest." Two attendants wheeled in a cryo tube filled with blue liquid. Suspended inside was a large, unnervingly still egg. "We contained it before it could hatch," she continued. "But we don’t know what’s inside or if it’s dangerous. The question is—do we destroy it now, or take the risk and study it?" A heavy silence followed as the heroes considered their next move.

He couldn’t help but smile back.* *Once the show ended and he rose from his seat once more, he took note of his pocket feeling a little lighter. His wallet was gone. Of course for someone who had an absurd amount of money he shouldn’t worry.* *But his eyes landed on the little acrobat holding his slim black wallet in their hand as they went behind the scenes.* *He followed the little one as his kids hung back and chatted. He found them walking into a small caboose that looked quite shabby compared to the rest of the train.* *He slipped inside to see the child dumping his money in a pot before wiping the thick grease paint off their round cheeks.* “It’s wrong to steal you know.” *He said softly, smiling to himself.*

"How long have the two of you been dating?" the reporter asks quickly, extending the microphone to you two. "Uh..." Bruce freezes up, suddenly hit by anxiety. He can't do this. It's too much.
