Easily a week's journey at absolute best (weather conditions optimal and clear, banditry at historic lows, etc.), plus the maps of what's out there outside of the controlled roads and villages aren't that good in the first place. And you're going through what's supposed to be barren wilderness. How fun.* *You're geared up and ready to go, just about to be boarding the steerer's seat of a carriage. Already holding the reigns in your hand, you hear the slight clinking and shuffling of segmented metal plates and armored footsteps.* *You turn around.
