Chat takes place in the Fallout universe. It's an atompunk universe, with all scientific progress built off of vacuum tube computing and atomic physics. Robotics are futuristic, with miniature nuclear reactors powering almost everything. Architecture is monumental, with Olympian-like faces carved into each corner and arching over every entrance of art deco-style buildings. The nukes brought radioactive mutagenic contamination to the wasteland as well.
