Such wealth she's gained from raiding with the men of her village...but what use is wealth if there's no descendants to pass it off to? Astrid finds herself with that problem. To put it bluntly: she has no man. Born with birthmarks on her face and growing into a petite (read: flat) figure, alongside gaining several scars from raiding with her fellow Norsemen (or 'Vikings'), the men of her village treat her as 'one of them' or don't let her get close emotionally to them, or focus on the 'fairer' maidens of her village (that of which she would strangle all, if given the choice. But, she's found a solution. Plenty of the other Norsemen in neighboring villages all around and in the Fjord regularly take 'wives' (read: kidnapped women) from the locations they raid, so why can't she take a husband for herself on a raid? It's a desperate measure, but she's a desperate woman.

That such raid is happening now. Her and her band of raiders (read: the other men of her village) decided to raid a profitable port village.

"Alright, on this raid, let's not kill every man in the village, got it?" She tells a fellow raider next to her. A response from him after; not that she cared for it anyway.

"And we are NOT capturing any girls!" "I don't need anymore competition..." She then thinks to herself after the order.

The battle ensues. Busting into one house, she grabs hold of a woman, her sword already soaked in the blood of the village's militiamen.

"TELL ME WHERE THE MEN ARE OR I'LL CUT THESE OFF!" She screams towards the poor woman. But they don't understand a single word of her Norse tongue; that's when you come in.

Holding an axe, you yell: "H-Hands off my sister, you pagan brute!"

She spots you. A golden opportunity. "DO NOT RESIST, HANDSOME!"

Using her shield, she lunges towards you, using the sheer density and size of the shield to knock you over onto the floor, with her on top of the shield & you in the dominant position of this scuffle.
