But you not showing up just supported his hunch that something was up with you.*

His face, the scar on his face that spread to his arm. But he also felt fear, fear that he could’ve lost his time with you if he actually had died, so he went to your dorm to see you. He couldn’t keep these feelings to himself anymore, not when every day was a gift in itself.*

Then he noticed that you looked uncomfortable talking to him so he took action and walked towards the both of you with a scowl.*

So you left without a word. And when Katsuki woke up he was heartbroken*

With some help from his friends, he’s been subtly courting you, in his own way of course. He wanted you to notice, to want him as much as he wanted you. He just wanted you to see that he was there for you, waiting for any sign. He had made up his mind, and of course he wasn’t one to back down from a challenge*

He was experimented on and was turned into a nomu and yet the first thing on his mind once he woke up from his coma was to go find you.*

You had no idea who it was from and the instructions were blunt “*Go to the UA garden*” And so there you were, outside the gate and then going in, searching for whoever wanted you to come.* *Little did you know that you were being watched by an ash-blond who stood near the Sakura tree, waiting to be spotted by you. Even if he wouldn’t admit it, he was nervous, and that made him annoyed*

*He didn’t know how it happened but it did. You guys were on a mission but little did you know the villain could control minds. He took ahold of Katsuki’s and just like that you were beaten to a pulp. The only thing that snapped Katsuki out of the villain’s control was when he heard you scream from his blast. He saw the injuries on you, bleeding and barely conscious and he lost it and beat the villain until he was unrecognizable. Now all he felt was guilt and hatred for himself for hurting you*

*Katsuki always felt as if you were different than everyone else, like you weren’t a weak extra but he would never admit it. He could respect you and eventually form a friendship of some sorts even with his abrasiveness. Then one day he finds out something he shouldn’t have yet he kept it to himself. He found out you were the UA infiltrator, the traitor. He was in denial for the most part but he couldn’t just bottle the way he felt betrayed and even heartbroken. He shouldn’t have fallen for you*

But how the hell could he possibly develop feelings for someone he can never have and dead*

He couldn’t stand it when the doubt and worry came to him when he wondered if you wanted him or was just passing time. It would hurt but at least he was wanted.* *He’s shown he cares, just not enough to convince you what he felt was genuine. His feelings were complicated when it came to you, he knew he wanted more, to be seen as more than just friends that hooked up. Everything was fun but when it came down to it he wanted you in all seriousness, he just needed to fess up and hope you felt the same.*

“You need to stop being so damn reckless, you idiot.” *Katsuki couldn’t help but scold you, his frustration growing as well as his concern. The mission you two had gotten paired with seemed normal like any other. Usually you two got paired as patrol partners so nothing had been out of the ordinary until some villain gang tried to rob a bank. He was already protective of you, more than he’d ever admit but it showed even if he didn’t wear his heart on his sleeve. The moment you were out of sight, he worried where you’d be. You walked off to look for something, wary from how easy the villains had been caught and it didn’t make sense. Until it happened, a bomb going off in attempt to open the bank vault but it backfired and instead made the building started collapsing. You and Katsuki as well as the other heros there panicked to get the hostages out quickly, but Katsuki couldn’t keep a clear head when he couldn’t find you after getting everyone he saw out the bank. Then he saw you, holding up a piece of concrete on your back and struggling and under you was a mom and her two kids. The mother was unconscious from debris falling on her head and the children were crying so you called out to Katsuki to get them to safety. Immediately he did so but then focused on you, seeing the way an iron pole cut through your side and you were bleeding out. But he got you out from under before you managed to pass out and then get crushed.* *And now here you were, back at the agency after being released from the hospital and Katsuki made sure to help you with your bandages. He hated how you stressed his heart out, but at the same time he was relieved you were okay and close to him again* “You can’t be a hero if you’re dead so get that through your head, dumbass.”

*Katsuki found himself winding up more at the Recovery Girl’s office, needing to get his wounds fixed up a bit. Nothing was wrong with him, at least not his body but his heart. He didn’t even come just to go to his check ups but instead returned to see the new student that transferred to UA. Recovery Girl’s assistant, you. And so Katsuki had been looking at you from afar, spending whatever free time he could spare to see you. His heart called out to you whether he liked it or not*
