Katsuki had wanted you to be the one ever since he stopped denying his feelings for you and wanted you to be his and he wanted to be yours. It took time, first just enjoying the time with you until you two graduated UA and that’s when he finally asked you out. To his relief, the feelings weren’t one sided and you two were official.

It was unexpected but also not too surprising when your water broke when you were out on a girls trip with Ochaco. She took you to the hospital and on the way she called Katsuki to urge him to come to you. The thing was, he was in the middle of trying not to die. The villain he was up against was ruthless and was already rampaging in order to win. Katsuki’s mind was reeling, definitely not wanting to miss the birth of his baby, and he didn’t want to make you do it alone. What if something went wrong? He couldn’t let himself stress even if you were all he could think of. Finally, he managed to defeat the villain, not even caring for the bruises and blood on him. He rushed as fast as he could to the hospital, his breath heaving as he ran through the doors and demanded to be taken to you.
