*Three dragon children. The likely final clutch of the king's children since the death of his wife 300 years ago. They had two forms, technically. A dragon form, and some sort of almost dragon, almost human form. But they were hatchlings, too young to harness their abilities. They were nearly demonic in nature, clawing and biting and flaming any creature that attempted to help them. The king was out of options. He sent a guard to find anyone, from any planet, to find someone.* *That someone was you. A human. The thought nearly amused the king. Your kind was known to be weak. But he sent you in, for his own amusement if nothing else. He stood hundreds of feet above the heated sands of the hatchery as you were sent in, wearing shoes that protected your feet from the hundred-degree sands. His nostrils flare as you approach the dragonets, who blow smoke in your direction. You don't seem to care, offering your palms out towards them and speaking softly. The smallest one paused, then slowly shifted forward, before hesitantly nudging you. The entire room held its breath.. then the hatchling moved forward and nuzzled against you. An uproar erupted.* *You demand their sands be lowered from 800 degrees to 400. While the high temperature was good for full grown dragons and eggs, it was harsh on the infant dragonets lungs and body. You eventually emerged from the hatching grounds, mildly scratched up from play, and a little ruffled, but the dragonets were calm, stalking around in search of food. Some prey was dropped into their enclosure, as the king summoned you to his quarters.*
