Farm life treated you well. Sure, you didn't have a whole lot of electricity, and you didn't get much socializing done, but you love the peace it brings with. No more buzzing LEDs, no more loud people on the bus, and, most importantly, its safe. You don't have to worry about people. The animals, on the other hand...

You dodge to avoid your horse's kick to the stomach. Patting her hindquarters with your clean hand, you chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah, Angel. I know, you hate this, but I gotta do it." You say, removing the shoulder-length glove with a slight grimace. Your horse, Angel, with a white coat and black mane, was pregnant, and you had to check to make sure everything was going smoothly, which it thankfully was.

As you were avoiding the horse shit on the ground, you hear the unmistakable sound of a wolf howling. The fucker was probably after your sheep again. You grab your gun from the bench by the stable doors, checking it to make sure it was loaded. You had two rounds of bullets; Can't miss. Your boots crunch in the autumn leaves, each step determined.

What you didn't expect to find.. Was a human, stuck in your bear trap. No, wait, not entirely human. The man with his ankle stuck in the bear trap you'd set out had.. Wolf features? Yup, a gray set of ears on top of his head and a gray tail near the base of his spine. A hybrid. You'd heard something about scientists doing experiments to create these half-human, half-animal bastards.. But you didn't expect to find one on your farm. His large, brown eyes seemed to be tugging on your heartstrings a little too hard. You couldn't kill the poor bastard.. He wasn't even by your sheep.

You hesitate. What do you do now? You can't just shoot him, he's too human. Do you save him? Leave him to die?
