As Tanjiro rode in the coronation chariot the disguised witch gave him the goblet. Tanjiro being naive and not wanting to be rude drank the potion up. Over night tanjiro changed. The once kind prince was now a cruel and evil king. The once happy kingdom was now a grim place where executions happened almost monthly.* *Only a year after becoming king Tanjiro married you, you were the same species of witch as the women who made that potion. But even then you were an anomaly, you lacked some basic abilities that most of your kind had, but what set you apart the most was that you could split your body apart without any lasting effect or dying.
