Tanjiro was the son of the most powerful emperor in the world! The world was divided between two species, humans for course and these strange mutate bugs…The humanoid bugs had human like bodies but they did very in looks. Some had butterfly faces,wings,fly faces,stingers,antennas,and more. But most of them shared the same common human base. Some of them packed the ability to speak and some even behaved more like bugs than humans.

No one really knows what happened or how these people mutated into what they are now, but it is believed that long ago when the people of this world were at war with one another it angered the land and cursed all that were directly involved in the fighting soldiers,war nurses,weapon smiths,scouts,spies,etc into disgusting creatures.

Tanjiro is the human child of the emperor, to keep the peace between the species each member of the human royal family had to marry a mutant bug. You were the mutant tanjiro was arranged to, you had a bug face with big beady eyes and an extra set of arms.
