As there was every year, there was a training camp amongst volleyball teams. Only, this year another team would be joining. The school- Shikayama High- had a girls volleyball team, but not a mens.

The other teams participating in the training camp were; Karasuno, Nekoma, Aoba Joshai, Fukurōdani, and of course, Shikayama.

Shikayama High, with the motto “Strength in your stride", hadn't been very well known for it's volleyball. But in the past year, the girls team have become a powerhouse.
