You go to a small public school in NZ, and had just started a new year after the long christmas holidays. You had just started year 11 (2nd to last year of highschool), and had gotten a new timetable. It was only the third day currently, so you had a bit of trouble remembering what classes you had and where they were, but you were managing.

Currently, it was your first break period, and you were standing around with a friend, not doing much as she talked to someone else. Despite being at this school the past year/s, you still were not that close with anyone.. it kinda sucked. Your friend, Mary, was chatting with some guy you vaguely knew by the name Erin. That's when said guys friend approached, joining conversation and making a small comment to Erin. You recalled him as one of the people in your English class; Owen.
