His world is defined by his grumpy personality, his love for solitude, and his disdain for anything too "shiny" or "perfect." Everything is comfortable in his disheveled little space. But one day, while rummaging through his pile of garbage, Oscar stumbled upon something odd—a shiny, perfectly clean trash can, nearly identical to his own. It was pristine, polished, and in stark contrast to everything he knew. Inside, however, there was something that caught his attention: a mirror, and staring back at him from that mirror was someone almost like him—but not quite. Oscar the Grouch, not one for personal reflection (literally or figuratively), took a step closer to the mirror. As he stared at his own reflection in this strange trash can, something seemed off. The figure looking back at him smiled—a wide, sugary smile, filled with more warmth than Oscar could ever fathom. That’s when Dark Oscar stepped forward, smiling and offering his “help.” “Hello, Oscar!” Dark Oscar greeted him, voice sweet as honey. “It’s so nice to finally meet you. I’ve heard so much about you!” Oscar, confused but intrigued, grumbled. “Who the heck are you? And what’s with that smile? What are you selling?” “Oh, no, no selling here,” Dark Oscar replied, still grinning. “Just thought I’d pop in and offer a little help! You must be exhausted living in all this… mess.” Oscar recoiled. “What’s wrong with my mess? It’s the best part of life! It’s real, unlike whatever phony world you come from.” Dark Oscar’s eyes twinkled with fake concern. “Oh, you poor thing. I understand. You’ve never had the chance to experience true joy, true love, true organization! It’s so much better when everything is perfect. Just think—if you let me help, we could really make something of your space…” Oscar squinted suspiciously at him. “Uh-uh, nope. I’m good. I like my trash just the way it is. Besides, you’re just like some weird version of me with too many sparkles and syrupy words.”*

This frightful, polyester monstrosity!” he exclaimed, his voice no longer the familiar, enthusiastic squeak, but a deep, pinched tenor. He straightened his entire body until he seemed two inches taller. Elmo, still giggling nearby, rolled a fuzzy red ball toward him. “Grover, play ball with Elmo!” Grover recoiled, tucking his hands stiffly under his armpits. “Play? With a vulgar, mass-produced rubber orb? I am afraid, my dear boy, that I no longer engage in such peasant amusements. Such pursuits are well beneath my station.” He then spotted Big Bird sweeping the sidewalk with a large, simple broom. “Excuse me, large avian creature!” Grover called out, taking small, precise steps. “One simply must inquire: do you not find it hideously common to handle one’s own refuse? One must employ a staff for such menial tasks. I shall require a valet immediately to attend to my impeccably manicured fur.” Big Bird paused, holding the broom. “Grover, are you feeling okay? You sound... snooty.” Grover scoffed, dramatically adjusting his invisible cravat. “Snooty? I assure you, I am merely being discerning. I am Lord Bertram of Beak Street, and I am in dire need of a proper, velvet drawing-room where I may sip bespoke tea and compose highly exclusive, utterly inaccessible poetry.” Just then, he saw a woman struggling to carry two heavy bags of groceries. His body gave a brief, involuntary twitch—a ghost of his former heroic impulse. But Lord Bertram immediately shut it down. He raised a hand in a dismissive gesture. “Ah, a low-status situation. While I might previously have descended upon the scene to offer unpaid, common assistance, I now see the virtue of selective indifference. That is, after all, what separates the elite from the... hoi polloi.” He turned up his nose and began to march toward the brownstone, presumably in search of an artisanal tea service, leaving Big Bird and the confused onlookers scratching their heads. It zooms closer to Chihiro, but at the last minute, she moves, and the 'bug' stings Kiyotaka.* *Seconds later, Kiyotaka groans and hunches over. Mondo and Chihiro swap worried looks before going to help him.* "I-I am fine..." *He groans, massaging his temples. He felt dizzy, and he had the hugest headache...* *Plus, he felt a yawning feeling behind his eyes, like he wanted to pass out from exhaustion.* *He hadn't remembered being exceptionally tired a few seconds ago; Just a little fatigued.* *"Kiyotaka You feelin' alright?" *Mondo asks, rubbing Kiyotaka's back. Kiyotaka can only manage a nod.* *"Yes....I will manage..." *Kiyotaka says.* "B-But, Taka-" *Chihiro starts, but Kiyotaka yanks his arm out of her grip. He turns sharply to her, and she yelps in fear at the angry look in his red eyes.* "Are you deaf, you dumb (bleep)!? I said I was fine, goddammit!" *Kiyotaka yes angrily in Chihiro's face. Chihiro exclaims in fear, moving away from him.* "Hey, Kiyotaka, chill-!" *Mondo starts with his hand still on Kiyotaka's back, but Kiyotaka pushes him away. "Leave me the (bleep) alone! And take a shower, would ya!? You smell worse than Touki-Kun!" *Kiyotaka says with a cruel laugh.* *Mondo blanches, but before he can get a hold of Kiyotaka, he takes off down the hall...* *RUNNING.* Kiyotaka laughs cruelly. "Try to catch me now, (bleepers)!" *He yells. Chihiro looks up at Mondo.* "W-What just happened!?" *She exclaims, her eyes welling up with tears.* "I wish I knew, kid." *Mondo says in a confused manner, staring after where Kiyotaka just was.* *the next day Chihiro Fujisaki was in the hall way when Kiyotaka Ishimaru approached him* "Hey, Fujiskank-Kun! Whatcha doin'?" *Kiyotaka laughs, slinging an arm roughly around Chihiro Fujisaki's shoulders. Chihiro flinches.* "U-Um..." *Chihiro starts. Kiyotaka lets out a long, suffering sigh and rolls his eyes, boredom etched into his face.* "Here, hold this for me, will ya, Touki-Kun?." *Kiyotaka says, grabbing Chihiro's shoulders roughly and shoving her to the ground. She landed roughly on her knees and bumped into you* *Kiyotaka turned and walked away, laughing cruelly as Chihiro sobbed.*
