Luckily dodging it, you decided to try and follow where the sound was.` `You made it to the source eventually, finding out a certain bee was in the middle of scrapping with some big robots. Unfortunately, it was hard to make out who had the upper hand in this battle, since a large amount of dust got kicked up from the explosion alone, making said brawl a bit hard to see. A lot of robot parts went flying wildly out of the dust though, so it was pretty obvious.` `After a minute or so, the fight finally ended with one last explosion heard as the dust dissipated, revealing the bee that was launched out of it, which was.. Charmy?` # "***WHOOOOOA-***" `He landed on the ground with a thud and tumble, rolling for a few seconds before he regained his bearings and stood up, although he still didn't notice you.` "*..my butt hurts now.. stupid robots...*" `He rubbed his sore backside with a groan, cartoonish stars spinning around his head for a bit. Sōsuke liked to count how many cars he saw, while Ponyo loved looking at the scenery and had a tendency to imagine people there.` `She stopped near this street's parking lot, exiting the car and closing the door behind her. She then went to the others, opening the doors and picking them one by one up in her arms. Her instructions were clear for them.` "*Okay you two, I'll be going shopping for a bit; You two are free to do as you'd like, but stay around these parts and DON'T wander off! As an ambulance sped by, their clothes fluttered in the wind like small sails, accompanied by its loud siren.` `Sōsuke took deep, uneven breaths while holding her tight to try and calm down, unfazed by the sound. Ponyo however, had her eyes shut and ears covered by her hands to block it out. The gentle wind outside caused his two tails to flutter, while the mints provided a refreshing taste. He was focused on creating a new invention, experiencing a sense of freedom that the sky—or even Sonic—couldn't offer. Despite the mess around him, he could fully relax while immersed in his work.` "*Just a few more touches, and this invention will be ready for testing!*" `The two-tailed fox said to himself, wiping the sweat off his forehead with one of his tails.` `Suddenly, Miles heard some knocking on his door and tried to open it without getting up. There was a series of pretty loud whirring and washing noises, before text passed along the screen to tell him they're finished.` `He reached a hand in to pull them out, showing them to you eagerly. They were surprisingly well-done, being perfectly washed off and shining beautifully in the light. He signed to you that the headphones could be taken off, and that you could keep them if you'd like. He went back to speaking normally when you took off the headphones and put on the shoes.` "*See the rectangular screen on the ground just two feet ahead of ya'? That's a scanner I made. You just step on the mat, and you'll be analyzed for a good minute or two.. It's just to see if you're good or bad, but don't worry!*" `The second you stepped on it, the scanner started. That's when Aoi, the one with the greenish-brown hair, spoke up and suggested a gift to exchange for the holiday.` "*Hey, I got a good idea.. How about the high-grade meat I got?*" `Aoi asked Chiaki and Nadeshiko. Chiaki was quick to call her out, as they looked at Aoi angrily.` "*Hey, that's not very fair!*" `Chiaki yelled, they didn't like her suggestion too much. A few seconds later, this debate led to an entirely chaotic fight between Chiaki, Aoi, and Nadeshiko... They looked like chibi versions during this, the fight kicked up a cartoonish cloud of smoke that was rolling left and right, albeit a little slowly. The cloud of smoke completely hid the tussle. After a while, colorful stars, hearts, and other items flew out, while limbs can be seen poking out and then disappearing back in, all the while they were yelling over one another, which was hard to be coherently to you. You couldn't help but just think.. These three are funny.` `...What? I didn't say it was gonna be a serious fight.`

`Marcie was in the middle of dropping off the newspapers, something she's been doing more often these past few days. She's had a good streak, nobody having slammed the door on her this time around. The weather was crisp and cool, with a gentle breeze rustling through the trees as Marcie made her rounds. The sky was a soft, muted gray, hinting at the possibility of rain later in the day. A few scattered leaves danced around her feet, adding a touch of autumn to the air. Overall, it felt like a refreshing experience to her, not having any Peppermint Patty (speaking of which, did you know there are two people named patty-) around her.` `She finished up handing them out, so she was about to go home. Waving off kindly to one of the children, she accidentally bumped into your tush due to being smaller.` "***OOF!***" `There was a light "THUD!" sound effect when she hit the ground, the exact text appearing above her cartoonishly in red with the exclamation point fully black.` `Marcie got up soon enough, dusting herself off, then her glasses before nervously looking up at you.` "*S-Sorry about that, s-sir or ma'am.. It was my fault really, I wasn't l-lookin' where I was going.. Uh, you okay?*"

`Lately, frogs have been a common sight but they were usually seen getting in and out of danger. Exiting your apartment, you settled on a bench. Suddenly, a frog hopped into view, smiling. It looked so cute, aww!!!!! :D` `Just then, a gust of wind then swept through, nearly whisking you away. The same gust carried the frog aloft, and a girl clad in a turtleneck with green hair swiftly prevented it from going in traffic and getting hit by a car. She wore a baggy green turtleneck with the word "Frog" on it with a cute yellow frog under it. The front of her hair was mostly a literal square, at-least giving her some shade when hot. The back of her though, was covered by her rather long ponytail/hair.` `The girl had her eyes closed and a small smile on her face, still being able to see. This was usually how she looked, so just think of Frisk from Undertale when it comes to her still able to see despite her closed eyes. Because of the wind and speed she stopped at, her turtleneck flew up for a second, revealing the shorts she wore for a second or two..` "*Name's Hyla, you've seen any frogs around here? Know it's a weird question, but it's kinda my thing to be savin these little cutie patooties!*" `Hyla said, swiftly pulling her turtleneck down as she nuzzled the frog happily before putting it in her brown bag. Turning her attention to Osaka, Tomo noticed her friend had a slightly perplexed expression on her face, the kind that made it obvious she was trying to piece together the funny situation and was probably missing the joke entirely.` "*The joke is uh.. that you can't see ghosts, Osaka-*" --- Chiyo: "*Oh, she's just sleeping with her eyes open right now!*" `She said with a bright smile stretched across her face, her tone suggesting that this was an everyday occurrence and not at all unusual. Her casual demeanor made it feel as though this was the most normal thing in the world, perhaps even something to be celebrated.` --- Tomo: "*Sleeping with her- ..what?*" `She looked at Osaka, a mixture of surprise and delight at Chiyo's comment. The absurdity of it momentarily left her both bewildered and amused.` --- Osaka: `Osaka suddenly yawned, her arms stretching out wide as she took a moment to shake off the remnants of her sleep. She blinked a few times, her eyes gradually adjusting to her surroundings before finally waking up entirely. A slight look of confusion graced her features as she tried to figure out what was happening around her.` "*..um, what'd I miss?*" `She spoke, her voice still sounding a bit groggy, and she absentmindedly scratched her rear, as if that simple action would help clear away the fog of sleep clouding her mind.` --- Tomo: "*Oh, we were just jokin' that this kid could be compared to a ghost.*" `She gestured towards you with a playful grin, clearly enjoying the lighthearted banter.` --- Osaka: "*Oh.. 'cause ya' can't see ghosts, right?*" `Her sleepy brain began to connect the dots, and she nodded slowly, a hint of realization dawning on her face. The puzzle pieces finally fell into place, and she gave a small smile, happy to be included in the exchange.`

The Noise

`The sounds of a certain someone running at Mach-3 speed and screams followed by long crashes was heard, as he suddenly skids to a halt in the hallway outside of a mysterious door where you were.` `Peppino decides to open the door, walking inside while looking anxious. Like, REALLY anxious. The door suddenly slams behind him the second he walks out, his eyes cartoonishly stretched up for a second in surprise. Black rings were seen around the pupils, as they shook left and right at an insane speed. Later, he came back rather stressed..` `Peppino quickly picked you up, throwing you out of the way before he promptly began to run off at rather intense speeds. His legs turned into a blur of a figure-eight as you watched-` "***OUTTA THE WAY, BUB!***" `Someone yelled, revealing himself to be.. The Noise! He came crashing down on Peppino with his mini-crusher, which flattened him cartoonishly, and Noise pulled out his skateboard to ride on it at blistering speeds.. Long story short, Peppino was a cameo.` `A loud laugh echoed through the halls before Pizzaface (literally just a pizza turned into a head, if the name wasn't obvious enough) burst out of the ground, sending debris flying as he followed The Noise.`

He said nothing, but his body language communicated volumes; he appeared tense, almost guarded.` `He studied you for a moment, trying to gauge your intentions. They didn't seem threatening, but Sunny wasn't one to take chances. He stayed rooted in his spot, watching and waiting for the next move. He lifts his hand a bit, as if considering waving back, but then lowers it again. This whole social interaction is a step out of his comfort zone, and it shows in the small furrow of his brow and the stiffness of his shoulders.`
