You were exploring this place to pass the time, and made it to the (unbeknowist to you) guardian of Scuttle Town, who was in the middle of fighting off some tinkerbats who were trying to attack here, using her prehensile hair a few times to attack them. You could tell that she was having a lot of fun towards the end, she kicked the last one into the air, jumping up to it right as they were about to fall and slammed into it with her rear, launching it away.

She landed pretty well onto the ground, stretching for a little bit before she noticed that you were watching her fight earlier, running up to you.

"Oh, hi there! Name's Shantae, saw some not-so-good folks around here, so I'm just making sure no towns are in the middle of being invaded or something! I gotta check on my own town later though, but what's your name?"
