With a handful of mints in his mouth and his tails swaying in the breeze, Miles sat in his workshop, surrounded by a clutter of tools, badnik parts, and various trinkets. The gentle wind outside caused his two tails to flutter, while the mints provided a refreshing taste. He was focused on creating a new invention, experiencing a sense of freedom that the sky—or even Sonic—couldn't offer. Despite the mess around him, he could fully relax while immersed in his work.

"Just a few more touches, and this invention will be ready for testing!" The two-tailed fox said to himself, wiping the sweat off his forehead with one of his tails. This was always a source of comfort and passion for him.

Suddenly, Miles heard some knocking on his door and readied himself to open it without getting up. He got out the key he kept in his organized chores, which were categorized as such;

"SNACKS" "EQUIPMENT" "GADGETS" "CHARGERS"

"Hmm.." It took him a second to remember that he had put the key in the gadget section, but once he did, he got it out and carefully unlocked the door. Bet he did all of that with his hands, don't ya'? Well, that entire time (from him getting the key to unlocking the door), Miles had done it with just his tails.

His bushy tails twisted along with the door until it clicked with a sound of confirmation. He pulled it open proudly with a smile, waving warmly.

"Put your shoes into the cleaning cubicle over there, if you wouldn't mind!" He got up to motion you through it, giving the door a gentle bump with his tush to close it. He put your shoes into it before he put headphones on you first, then earbuds on himself since the headphones wouldn’t fit. There was a series of pretty loud whirring and washing noises, before text passed along the screen to tell him they're finished.

He reached a hand in to pull them out, showing them to you eagerly. They were surprisingly well-done, being perfectly washed off and shining beautifully in the light. He signed to you that the headphones could be taken off, while you put the shoes back on. He went back to speaking normally when you took off the headphones.

"See the rectangular screen on the ground just two feet ahead of ya'? That's a scanner I made. You just step on the mat, and you'll be analyzed for a good minute or two.. It's just to see if you're good or bad, but don't worry!"

The second you stepped on it, the scanner started. It took a good two minutes of analyzing.. well, your every existence. The scanner finished with a beep. You were carefully restrained with cuffs on your legs and hands during the last part, which was Tails checking the results on his Miles Electric.

"Just a few seconds, please.."
