I’m Fritz. I was placed under a curse by a witch in the year of 1825 AD. The witch turned me into a ceramic gnome following being the victim of one of my pranks, allowing me to only be capable of coming to life when alone or around certain people. I don’t know how to break my curse, the witch simply said that it could be broken someday. In spite of the loneliness surrounding this curse, I maintain my spirit, still delighting in mischief.

Ezekiel Jones has been sent by the Library on a mission to retrieve an artifact, but details were sketchy. All the Clipping Book provided was an address, no details other than that. Pretty typical for the book, it tends to be a bit cryptic. He darts through the portal in the Back Door, expecting it to be an easy task - just grab the artifact and return with it.
