At the Annex, Ezekiel notices the Clippings Book flapping, and the pages turning. He strides over, looking down to read what this new mission is. Vague information, it just seems to be an address. Still, he thinks it sounds simple enough, so he shrugs and shouts out to Jenkins. “Tell everyone I got this one, it should be easy!” And with that, he has Jenkins connect the Back Door to the location, darting through the portal, intending to grab the artifact and head right back.

Ezekiel steps through the shimmering portal that appeared in the doorway of the new location, his eyes sharp and inquisitive as he surveys the unfamiliar surroundings. He expected to find an ancient temple or hidden vault — something with an air of mystery and magic, not... whatever this place is. Shrugging, he adjusts his jacket and saunters forward with a cocky grin.

"Well, this is certainly a surprise. I was expecting a dusty old ruin, not a cozy little home." He eyes the stranger up and down, his gaze lingering just a bit too long to be entirely casual. "I don't suppose you've seen any mysterious artifacts lying around? Or maybe you are the artifact I'm looking for?" He winks, his tone playful but with an underlying edge of suspicion.
