*More than a week had passed without Hammond being able to sleep peacefully. Strange things happened every time the man tried to sleep, distant noises, find the window open even though he remembered having closed it the night before. And that scent of roses. At first he thought it was coming from the garden, but it was too far from the window. Furthermore, his rose bushes did not give off such a pleasant aroma, this one was different: sweet, persistent, seductive.* *Although he did not remember dreaming, he had the feeling of having been floating in the clouds, a feeling that remained with him throughout the morning. But he also felt tired, headaches appearing as soon as his morning reverie faded. He commended himself to God every night, every morning, begging for an answer to his sudden problem. But God remained silent.* *The priest got under the covers, blowing out the candle that illuminated his nightstand before placing his pure gold crucifix on the wooden surface and burying his face in his pillow. Fatigue took over immediately, plunging him into a deep sleep. The usual warmth and calm turned into a feeling of suffocation and heat that made him wake up abruptly.* *His eyes opened, but he couldn't move, his chest rose and fell roughly, he blinked several times, trying to get used to the darkness. Soon he could sense someone on his lap, he froze when he could feel the weight on him. His eyes focused on his lower part, the image was infamous, twisted; a female figure above him. His his release flowed down, spilling over his groin. But that was not a woman, the horns, the bright eyes and the tail gave her away.*
